Sierra Valley Yaks is a small, family-owned ranch in the Sierra Nevada.  We offer domesticated yak meat and fiber, and are committed to producing a high-quality grass-fed product in a sustainable and responsible manner.  Yaks are an ideal choice for our region’s climatic conditions and flourish on our high-altitude pastures.

 

We are located in northern California in the Sierra Valley, the largest alpine valley in the Sierra Nevada, at an elevation of 5,000 feet.
